This course is aimed at existing barbers/hairdressers who want to 'funk up' their barbering skills. 
Through interactive demonstration and practical experience students will learn the latest advanced techniques in barbering- don't give your male clients a haircut - give them a barbering experience.

Course criteria 

Health and Safety 
Current trend gents haircutting and using advanced techniques along with alternative clipper blades 
Demonstration from the educator 
2 practical’s – on live models 
Neck line detailing using open blade razor (this is simulated using un-bladed razors) 
Preparation to shave routine 
Barbering service options 

What do I need to bring? 

You are required to provide either training heads or live models. You are also required to bring your own scissors, combs your choice of hairdryer and advised to bring clippers and brushes 
British Barber

Experience required 

You are required to have obtained an NVQ/VRQ level 2 or equivalent in hairdressing or barbering or have at least 1 years cutting experience. 
Approved and accredited Training

Certificate / Assessment 

A Training Solutions in Hair E-Certificate of attendance will be awarded to successful students upon completion of the course. This course is approved by Professional Beauty / Hair Direct, ABT and The Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists and accredited with 9 CPD points. This course is also HABIA CPD approved for 6.5 CPD Hours. 

Do I need to bring a model  

Live models are essential for this course. They must be male and over 18 years of age. Model 1 at 1pm and model 2 at 3pm (models must be males 18+ with 3.5 cms of hair)
