What is Dermaplaning?
Dermal planing is a relatively new form of manual exfoliation meant to be performed primarily on the face. Also known as Dermaplaning, Skin Levelling or simply Blading or Shaving (but it is not shaving). The treatment is performed by a qualified trained professional and involves the use of a sterile surgical blade, or scalpel. This method removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells (stratum corneum) and hair, leaving the skin smooth and supple.
