ONE DAY HOT/COLD STONE MASSAGE
OVERVIEW
A classic salon and spa treatment - this is a course for therapists who already hold a certificate in Anatomy and Physiology and Full Body massage.
Clients love a massage! Update your massage treatment by adding the warming & relaxing benefits of Hot and Cold stones into your routine.
A huge benefit to the therapist, is the ability to offer firm, deep tissue massages, that create less strain on your arms, hands and wrists.
You will complete your theory in your own time and pace via an online learning portal. Your practical will be completed either face to face with an educator at a venue or Online via a LIVE webinar hosted with one of our educators.

WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE INSTORE PRACTICAL TRAINING
*All products and equipment are supplied for the duration of the course by your educator HOWEVER PLEASE BRING 2 Large Bath Towels TO USE ON THE COURSE
*Please bring 1 x electronic devices (ipad/laptop & smartphone) fully charged with data to be able to access your online portal to get your E-Certificate.
*This course is available to qualified therapists who hold a certificate in Anatomy and Physiology and Full Body Massage
* You will work on each other for the practical session, please ensure you have no contra-indications to the treatment, should you not be able to have the treatment due to medical reasons you can arrange to bring a model (please contact Training Solutions direct to arrange this).
*It is advised not to take part in this course if you or your model have a pre-existing back condition.
*Please wear minimal make-up and make provisions to remove contact lenses.

WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE ONLINE PRACTICAL TRAINING
The following items are required to complete the course
*Basic Set of Hot/Cold Stones suitable for a Full Body Massage
suggested stones to have:
Working Stones
6 x Large (7cm - 9cm)
8 x Medium (6cm - 8cm)
8 x Small (4cm - 5.5cm)
8 x Face (3cm - 4cm)
8 x Toe (2cm - 3cm)
Energy Stones
7 Chakra Stones
*The Means to Heat the stones - ie hot stones water heater or Vulcini heating case.
*2 Large Bath Towels
*Massage Oils/Creams
*You will require a laptop or tablet with a camera to access the webinar and we would recommend an additional device (smartphone) to enable ease of access to the learning portal during the webinar.
*Students must have a suitable area with adequate lighting to complete the treatment in. A good stable internet connection is also required.
*A week before the webinar you will receive access to the online learning portal via email, this must be completed before your live practical session, we estimate this will take up to 3 hours dependent on your pace.
• Models are required during the live webinar at 11am
*Models should wear minimal make-up and make provisions to remove contact lenses.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
•Students and Models must be at least 18 years of age to attend.
•You will receive a Welcome Email from Training Solutions to explain your training journey within 48 hours of purchasing your training.
• You will continue to have access to the online learning portal for 1 year.
•Upon completion you will receive an accredited E-certificate.
